One way to make a baby shower unique is to attach a theme. This can be done by customized invitations, party supplies, Thank You cards and favors. Only your own imagination sets the limits to your theme. We will try to give you some ideas to get your baby shower brainstorming started.
Book Theme
Ask each guest to bring their own book to the baby shower. The book should have meant something special for them as a child. The guests should hold a little presentation of their book. This is a good way to start the child’s library, and a good way for everyone to get to know each other.
Poetry Theme
Ask each guest to write their own poem to the mom-to-be and the child. This can be very amusing or very touching, depending on the “poets”. The poem should be made into a little book that the mom can keep and read for the child when it’s old enough.
Future Theme
Everyone should make a little presentation on how they think the baby will live and what traits it will inherit from their parents. This is a very fun and humorous theme where anything can happen. Imagine spaceships versus the mothers hot temper.
